Uganda Police Volleyball Club at Jinja Open 2026

Uganda Police Volleyball Club kicked off their preseason campaign at the Jinja Open 2026, seeded in Pool A alongside former defending champions Spartans, UCU Mbale, and Mukono VC. Day one brought mixed fortunes for the team. In their opening match, Police displayed sharp execution and strong cohesion, sweeping UCU Mbale in straight sets (3-0). The victory set a confident tone for the tournament. However, the second fixture proved more challenging as they faced the reigning champions Spartans. Despite resilience, Police fell short, losing 3-0 to the experienced side. With one pool game left against Mukono VC on day two, the team’s focus is firmly on bouncing back and securing a spot in the knockout stages.
